Dev Bootcamp was the first immersive coding school, and it refined the art and science of cultivating diverse developers with in-demand technical and interpersonal skills. It trained almost 3,000 developers in its 9 week program between 2012 and 2017.
I joined Dev Bootcamp in 2013, as President. I grew the company to 6 locations by developing a leadership team, a Marketing and Admissions (sales) team, a scalable teaching process, and a standardized curriculum and placement services. Over the next 3 years, we more than doubled in size and eventually sold the company to Kaplan Education. Many of our graduates have become senior engineers, CTOs, and founders or co-founders of software companies.
“Going through DBC taught me the best ways to learn how to learn. Because of that, it was really easy for me to dive in at my new job and understand how things worked.” - Julian G, Graduated 2015, New York City
